Ford & Stanley will be attending the Rail Infrastructure Networking (RIN) event this Thursday 21st September, as some of the biggest railway infrastructure companies in the UK will descend on Derby Arena.
This week’s event is tipped to be the largest RIN event to date, following on from RIN London held in March which welcomed record-breaking numbers of attendees through its doors at Islington’s Business Design Centre. Positive signs that the industry is booming and the future of rail is looking rather bright!
And what better location to hold the RIN, after the recent announcement that Derby had won the bid to become the new home of Great British Railways (GBR). With a rich 200-year legacy as the centre of the rail industry in Britain and renowned as being the Centre of Excellence in Rail Innovation, the city is ideally placed to host GBR’s new headquarters. This will bring a wide raft of economic and social benefits to the city and the East Midlands at large.
“Like many other businesses, we’re looking forward to the industry once again being reunited under one roof to meet potential new customers to tap into further business growth,” says Jonathon Levers, Head of Sales. “The second RIN event of the year will not only provide invaluable networking opportunities for us but the chance to make new contacts and reinforce existing relationships, while keeping up to date with the latest industry news. We look forward to meeting familiar faces and seeing new ones.”
The third and final RIN event for 2023 will be at York Racecourse on Thursday 16th November.
