Ford & Stanley welcomed clients, industry leaders and business partners to Eaton Hall Shooting Ground for its annual Summer Social Shooting Day. The corporate networking event brought together professionals from across the transport, engineering and infrastructure sectors for a day of relationship building, collaboration and friendly competition.

Over 40 guests from across the rail sector and wider joined Ford & Stanley Talent Services Group at Eaton Hall Shooting Ground in Derbyshire on Thursday 4th June for the company’s annual Summer Social Shooting Day.

Ford & Stanley believes that strong industries are built on strong relationships. The Summer Social Shooting Day is designed to create opportunities for meaningful conversations, knowledge sharing and genuine connection away from the pressures of the working day.

The event also reflects Ford & Stanley’s commitment to creating better workdays – bringing together clients, partners and industry peers in an environment where professional relationships can develop naturally.

While the day began with light morning showers, brighter skies emerged throughout the afternoon, creating ideal conditions for guests to enjoy the shooting stands, networking opportunities and hospitality on offer at Eaton Hall Shooting Ground.

Creating Better Workdays Through Stronger Industry Relationships

Reflecting on the event, Jonathan Levers, Head of Client Development at Ford & Stanley, said:

“Some of the most valuable conversations happen when people step away from their desks and spend time together in a more relaxed environment. Days like today create the space to build stronger relationships, share ideas and simply enjoy each other’s company. At Ford & Stanley, we talk a lot about creating better workdays, and this event is a perfect example of what that means in practice – bringing great people together, getting outdoors and creating experiences that strengthen the connections that underpin successful businesses.”

Events such as the Summer Social Shooting Day provide an opportunity for industry leaders to strengthen existing partnerships, develop new connections and discuss the challenges and opportunities facing the sector.

For Ford & Stanley, the event represents more than a day of competition. It is a reflection of the company’s wider mission to support the rail, transport and infrastructure sectors through people, partnerships and long-term relationship building.

Thank you to everyone who attended and contributed to another successful Summer Social Shooting Day at Eaton Hall Shooting Ground.
