Ford & Stanley Limited Environmental Policy Statement

In line with the ISO 14001 and any other legislation, our objectives via this policy is to acknowledge, understand and act in the best interests of environmental protection. In line with the Environmental Protection Act 1990 and any other legislation, our aim to adhere and fully comply so that our environmental impact arising from activities undertaken by employees or associates of Ford & Stanley is reduced to a practical minimum.

To this end, the policy will consistently aim to achieve the following:

  • Continually assess and seek to reduce the environmental impact and pollution that our company activities create
  • Train and encourage the employees and associates to promote best practice
  • Achieve and exceed where possible our company’s environmental objectives
  • Reduce and conserve the use of natural resources and energy
  • Ensure our company transport policy minimalises the environmental impact caused by our company activities
  • Work with our clients, candidates, shareholders and society at large to reduce our impact whilst ensuring we provide a secure environment for the next generation
  • Review, agree and communicate our company environmental objectives
  • Commit to continually prevent pollution 
  • Commit to the continual improvement of the environmental management system to secure environmental improvements
  • Minimise the environmental impact for the life cycle: (including disposal), of plant, equipment, and other physical assets under our control
  • Operate an Integrated Management System certified to BS EN ISO 14001:2015

The Environmental Policy is viewed as a key part of our management system and will be maintained and continually reviewed by the operational leadership team with the Chairman retaining the executive control of the policy and management system. All employees and associates of Ford & Stanley are expected to offer their full commitment and support by ensuring that the company’s Environmental objectives are achieved.
